BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Howard women’s basketball team had four players reach double figures for its first win of the 2016 season in a 78-63 triumph over St. Francis (N.Y.) on Wednesday night in Pope Physical Education Center.

Redshirt senior Te’Shya Heslip had a game-high 19 points with eight rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Redshirt junior Erin Blaine added 16 points, while senior Sydni Johnson poured in 13 points, four boards and four assists.

Freshman Imani Bryant posted her first-ever double-double thanks to a career-high 14 points and 11 rebounds. She made 7-of-8 field goals and tallied three blocks.
