LITTLE SCREEN WRITERS COMPETITION ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST ANNUAL 2017 MINORITY SCREENWRITING CONTEST

Nationwide (BlackNews.com) — Little Screen Writers is pleased to announce their 2017 First Annual Screen Writing Competition. Because of its high prize and renowned judges, the Little Screen Writers Competition is definitely one writers will want to enter this year.

The writer must be minority or the subject matter must be about minorities OR contain a minority as the main character. i.e., Women, African Americans, Foreigners, Latinos, Handicapped, etc. Judges consist of everyday industry professionals, industry executives, SAG actors and crewmembers. Jim Tripp-Haith has extensive experience as a producer of such shows as Moesha, Eve, and Let’s stay together, to name a few. Yakini Horn is a SAG actress whom has worked alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. in the ABC movie firelight.

Early student entries will be accepted through July 9th, regular entries through August 30th along with a late entry deadline of October 3, 2017.
