Tobias Harris has established himself as one of the most caring players in the NBA by being recognized for his generosity in giving back to the community. He’s been a recipient of the NBA Cares Community Assist Award for his dedication to mentoring at-risk-youth. In his home state of New York, the Long Island native also runs the Tobias Harris School of Business Basketball Camp, which provides 3rd through 12th graders a unique opportunity to learn basketball from an NBA Player. Harris is dedicated to raising awareness on the importance of giving youth tools to be successful beyond basketball.

Each year the Children’s Sports & Fitness Expo enables hundreds of children to participate in a wide range of sports clinics: fencing, golf, basketball, archery, tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, soccer, hip hop dance, double dutch & more. Additionally nutrition workshops and health screenings are offered. The entire expo is all free of charge!
