Baltimore, MD, January 23, 2017: Engage in an evening of poetry/spoken word as Angelique Palmer features at Red Emma’s Mother Earth Poetry Vibe, Baltimore’s quarterly open mic with the theme, “Peace, Justice, Poetry!” The event will take place Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Red Emma’s Bookstore Coffeehouse, 30 W. North Ave., Baltimore, MD 21201. The sign-up for the open mic, which gives persons of all experience levels to share their poetic gifts, begins at 6pm, and the show starts at 6:30pm.
The host for the evening is the poet Analysis, and the feature poet for the evening, Ms. Palmer, is a dynamic, Virginia-based creative writing instructor and 2015 finalist in the Women of the World poetry slam! In addition to taking advantage of Red Emma’s comprehensive offerings in its bookstore and the variety of its vegan/vegetarian menu and roasted-on-premises coffee, listeners will be able to purchase Ms. Palmer’s new book, The Chambermaid’s Style Guide.
