Support Artists, Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs on Black Friday Weekend
(Baltimore, MD) The Eubie Blake Cultural Center joins the national effort to support small businesses and individual craftsmen and artisans on Black Friday Weekend at its third annual Holiday Celebration and Gift Bazaar on Sunday, November 27, 2016, 2 – 6 p.m., 847 North Howard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. The Holiday Bazaar will celebrate the season with holiday food and movies, live music, youth performances, and a vast array of fabulous, affordable and unique, one-of-a-kind gift items. Admission is free and free parking is available at the University of Maryland Hospital Garage across the street (entrance on Eutaw Street).
Vendors scheduled to participate in the Holiday Bazaar include representatives from Traci Lynn Jewelry, Scentsy Aromatics, Paparazzi, 31, Something Special, Turtleberry, Damsel in Distress, Sipho Fashions and more as well as individual artists offering custom designed crocheted and knitwear, hand crafted jewelry, journal books, holiday decorations, body lotions, handbags, hats and more. Affordable prices and high quality!
Throughout the day, on two floors of the Eubie Blake Cultural Center, the Holiday Bazaar will also offer food and soft drinks, children’s art activities, popular holiday movies and live music by area musicians to entertain shoppers of all ages. How the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas and performances by the Eubie Blake Center’s Cabaret Singers and readings of holiday stories by spoken word artist/actress Tracie Jiggetts are all set.
The Holiday Celebration and Gift Bazaar is free and open to the public. Gift items offered by on site vendors will be available for sale for cash and credit card (no checks). Adults and young people are encouraged to start their holiday shopping at this fin filled family event. Street parking is available as well as free parking across the street in the University of Maryland Hospital garage.
